Assessment and Gap Analysis (ESI Discovery Action Plan)
Assessment and Gap Analysis (ESI Discovery Action Plan) is the detailed assessment of the customer's current practices compared to its written policies and procedures, a detailed assessment of its capabilities for electronic discovery, and development of a strategic action plan to address the customer's e-Discovery litigation requirements and/or improved records management/retention policies and procedures. The period of performance for this effort depends largely on the size of the customer, complexity of the findings, and ranges from 8 weeks to a year or longer for on-going operational support. Tasks and/or deliverables might include:
- Detailed analysis of customer's policies and procedures
- On-site interviews of customer employees comparing actual practice to written policies
- Site inspections of various customer locations
- ESI Discovery Action Plan - recommendations for implementation of a strategic plan, including subject matter expertise, consulting, and tools implementation
- Additional LN product sales and on going consulting support
- Later phases may include training of staff on tools, methodology and ongoing operational requirements
