Quick Look Assessment (QLA)

Quick Look Assessment (QLA) is a high level survey and analysis of the customer's written electronic discovery, legal hold, tape backup and other data management policies and procedures to determine where the organization may fall short of new compliance rules and best practices in an effort to minimize the agency's risks and exposure. Each QLA is customized to address the most immediate needs of the organization and will provide the customer with recommendations for next steps. The typical timeline for completion of this type of project is 4 to 6 weeks. Tasks and/or deliverables might include:

  • High level survey of customer stakeholders to determine areas of greatest need/exposure
  • Researching industry standards for organizations of similar size and operational activity
  • Presentation of findings and analysis to customer stakeholders
  • Presentation of recommended next steps
  • Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) price and timeline for later phases
